This is a build the quilt size as you go quilt. We will start with squares of muslin, press and fold them and use the sewing machine to insert varied fabric scraps using the feather stitch. This a quick and easy method of quilting to learn. No need for batting, just build the blocks as you go. Make a table runner or start a quilt. Class will require you to bring your machine,( I can supply a machine if needed) one yard of muslin to start and assorted scraps of fabric, off white thread, fabric washaway marker, ruler and a hand sewing needle. We will cut about 8 blocks and start to assemble a few of the blocks. You will need a feather stitch or a mending variable zigzag stitch.
Please tell me what day of the week you wish. Class is scheduled for 1 - 1 hour sessions 1:30pm to 2:30pm. It is possible class could last longer, depending on how fast we work. I will confirm the schedule date you can start your session.
