Shipping and return policy at Jenny's Sewing Studio
Jenny's Sewing Studio wants happy customers who will shop us again and again! I try to fairly consider any and all shipping, warranty and return problems. Below are our shipping, return and warranty policy. We assume that all who purchase from us have read our policy and will adhere to it. All our shipping is done using Priority Mail unless the weight of the order items indicate UPS is a better and cheaper choice. We will email a tracking number or a customs number for all orders. The tracking number will always be located in your order file. Use your account to log in to see your order comments. Actual shipping fees will be charged for any order where the customer picks a shipping method that is inappropriate as a shipping method.
We deal with you in good faithJenny's Sewing Studio ships to all 50 States and APO/FPO addresses. Orders originating from U.S. territories and APO/FPO addresses will be shipped by U.S. Mail but is considered out of country. If you are outside the Contiguous USA your orders will be will be sent USPS ONLY, no expediated orders please. ALL INTERNATIONAL ORDERS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH USPS ONLY. There is no way to confirm or guarantee delivery outside the US.
Most orders are shipped within 2-3 business days unless the item is on back order. We will email you if the item has been delayed. Please allow 7-12 days for ground shipments to arrive. On orders to Alaska, Hawaii, APO and FPO addresses, delivery may take an additional 7-14 days. In the event that we cannot ship your complete order, we will notify you via e-mail. You need to allow 30 days on all orders that are shipped and that do not arrive in a timely manner. We are not responsible for delivery of packages that do not have the correct delivery information.
All orders are charged before we process the order. Once the order leaves our location we clear it from our cart by sending you a shipped email. This shows that the order has shipped and is on its way.
Orders are shipped via US Mail unless weight is an issue and then we will choose UPS Ground only. We do not ship any expedited orders.
Some items we sell are shipped directly from the vendor/manufacturer to you and we have no control over shipping methods.We do not back order items out of stock unless stock will arrive to us in a timely manner. Out of stock orders will be cancelled and refunded. You will then have to reorder when the item is due in.
If you place an order after 10:00 am on a Friday please consider the order will not be shipped until the following Monday.
All special order items like sewing baskets, caddies, sewing machine cases,sewing machine software, sewing machine tables, sew steady tables and cabinets, sewing machines are shipped from the manufactures' warehouse. No returns on these items unless damage occurs. An RA is required for any return or the shippment will be refused.*
**There are no returns at anytime on fabric, special orders items, sewing baskets, caddies, sewing cabinets, sewing chairs, cabinet inserts, sew steady tables, computer programs, embroidery disc packs, books, patterns or printed materials, bobbin cases, sewing machine needles, needle threaders, or other parts deemed fragile.**
Jenny's Sewing Studio values all our customers and want you to be satisfied with all purchases made. We have made every attempt to picture all items accurately. If you have a question about an item, please email us before you order and we will be glad to explain any product to you. We stand behind all our products as first quality unless indicated as used or factory refurbished or the item has some notation about quality or appearance. Jenny will make every attempt to satisfy you with the product ordered.
If the order is visibly damaged in shipment, do not accept the order. If you accept a visibly damaged order you will have to place the claim with UPS or USPS. Please note that many items are drop shipped from the manufacture and we use their shipping method. Please note: If the UPS shipment shows external damage please refuse it. It was shipped in first class condition and this is the only way that we can make claim with UPS. If you refuse a UPS shipment and it was not damaged you will be charged for shipping of the product both ways. On some products, a restocking fee will apply.
We reserve the right to issue store credits on all returns.
If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase send us an email to jenny@jennys-sewing-studio.com with your name, address, phone and email along with a description of the product and the reason it is unsatisfactory. The best way to make a claim about an incorrect product shipment is with a picture. Email the photo to Jenny and she will determine if the product should be exchanged. All returned items will incur a 20% restocking fee, no exceptions!. If products are returned without authorization the package will be refused and returned to you. The customer will be responsible for all shipping fees that apply. We reserve all rights for replacement of any product with the manufacturer if the product was damaged in shipment. Returns will be applied to store shopping credits only!
We do not issue cash or credit card refunds on most products, only store credits (on the website)! There are no cash or credit card refunds. We will exchange any item as long as it is not a closeout or sale item, is in the original carton and in original condition. Exchanges must have a return authorization. Please email Jenny if you have a problem at jenny@jennys-sewing-studio.com.
Once you place your order and we process it, we will determine if any other shipping venue is more appropriate for your item and apply those charges, especially when tracking expensive merchandise, since we are responsible for the delivery. Please choose your shipping methods carefully.
There are no returns or credits or tracking on any item purchased from Jenny's Sewing Studio if purchased outside the contiguous USA.
Credits are good for 1 month from date of issue! Any credit over 3 months from the date of issue will be forfeit.
All prices in US funds.
We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time without notice.
Warranties and repairs
All products that need warranty service should be sent to the warranty service center as outlined in the instruction manual or on your warranty card. It is advised that you keep and store any sewing machine packing in case it is needed for service work. Please note: Jenny's Sewing Studio is not a SINGER, Juki or Brother service center.
